British newscaster Walter Blunt comes to Los Angeles, intent on conquering the world of American cable TV. Through the platform of a nightly interview show, Blunt is on a mission to impart his wisdom and guidance on how Americans should live, think and behave. Unfortunately, Blunt is constantly harassed by interfering network bosses, a dysfunctional news staff, and his numerous ex-wives and children.
